I do want inform you of another exciting development. We have been in discussions with the volunteer Santa Fe Adult Soccer League to take over responsibility for organizing and administering their summer leagues. Initially we are looking at a one year agreement to make sure that it works for both organizations, but we see a lot of synergies. Our vision is to create a “cradle to the grave” club concept, so that as players graduate from the Northern youth program they have a natural progression to continue to play soccer as an adult. Furthermore, it provides a forum for those parents who have been watching their kids have all the fun to be able to start playing some soccer themselves – which expands the number of adult players. In return, Northern gets access to 450+ adults who may be interested in sharing their soccer knowledge and experience with Northern players as coaches. We still have to work through some of the details, but we expect this arrangement to start in Janauray – well before the Adult Leagues start in April.
If you are interested in finding out about how to participate in the Santa Fe Adult Soccer league please contact me, Nic Smith at email@example.com.
Due to snow Friday, April 28 Goalkeeping and Finishing practice as well as Saturday, April 29 Development games are cancelled.
This season we have over 20 RRNSC players participating in YOP (Young Olympians Program). These players were nominated by their coaches and Director of Soccer Rob Rittmeyer for this outstanding program run by NMYSA. Congrats to our players!

Santa Fe Soccer Complex group is partnering with the City of Santa Fe to run a FootGolf tournament on SATURDAY, JUNE 25. The Santa Fe Soccer Complex group is made up of RRNSC, La Liga, AYSO and the SF Adult Soccer League. The proceeds will go to support the refurbishment of the MRC as a soccer complex. This summer the $277,000 raised from the State by SFSC will be used to improve the irrigation, top dress the fields and get new goals and nets. The project to completely refurbish and expand the MRC is still moving forward as a Regional project with support from the North Central New Mexico Economic Development, the County, City and State.
